What We're Looking For
White Rabbit Group depends upon System Administrators for monitoring, supporting, and improving critical business systems within the organization. As part of the TechOps team, you will work closely with the Engineering, HR, and Delivery teams to ensure smooth functioning of employee systems, internal infrastructure, networking, and operational IT environments. To qualify for this position, you should have strong IT support and infrastructure fundamentals with a proactive mindset toward operational reliability, security, and process discipline.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, proactively troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, networking, and IT-related operational issues.
- Install, configure, maintain, and support laptops, desktops, operating systems, peripherals, printers, and collaboration tools.
- Manage and maintain internal networking infrastructure, Wi-Fi systems, VPN access, firewall configurations, and endpoint security systems.
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including user account management, access provisioning, system setup, and IT asset allocation.
- Maintain and monitor IT inventory, software licenses, device lifecycle management, and infrastructure documentation.
- Collaborate with TechOps and Engineering teams in maintaining secure and reliable IT environments.
- Assist in procurement activities related to IT hardware, software, subscriptions, and infrastructure requirements.
- Conduct training and guidance sessions for employees on IT systems, collaboration tools, security practices, and operational best practices.
- Monitor system health, endpoint security alerts, and infrastructure issues, proactively identifying risks before they impact operations.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for system configurations, IT assets, SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and operational processes.
- Ensure adherence to organisational IT policies, operational standards, and security best practices.
- Suggest and implement continuous improvements in internal IT processes, automation opportunities, and operational workflows.
- Communicate effectively with employees and cross-functional teams, providing timely support and operational updates.
- Demonstrate strong ownership, accountability, and process discipline in day-to-day IT administration and operational support.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years experience in System Administration, IT Support, or Infrastructure Support roles.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows-based systems, software applications, networking, and endpoint devices.
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, routers, switches, and infrastructure security concepts.
- Hands-on experience with installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems, computer systems, and peripherals.
- Familiarity with collaboration and communication platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or equivalent tools.
- Experience managing user accounts, permissions, device access, and endpoint security tools.
- Good understanding of IT operational practices, asset management, and system maintenance procedures.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms, infrastructure concepts, or remote device management is an added advantage.
Bonus points
- Certifications such as MCSE, RHCE, CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent.
- Exposure to Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools and endpoint management systems.
- Familiarity with cloud-based IT administration and remote infrastructure support.
- Exposure to scripting or automation for operational tasks.
- Experience working in fast-paced engineering or digital delivery environments.
