Founded in Portland in 2009, Shwood pioneered wooden sunglasses. Through a Partner collaboration, White Rabbit Group built a custom Shopify micro web app to process prescription orders for glasses. The solution supports seamless checkout while keeping Rx details accessible and manageable directly inside Shopify.

Solution
// Pixel perfection, alwaysWe developed a custom Shopify app that matched Shwood’s previous Rx capabilities while restoring the manageability of Shopify. We modified theme files to collect prescription details and used Shopify Properties to attach those details to each order, keeping the experience consistent through checkout.
For more context Shopify cannot host, we stored files in an AWS S3 instance and connected them to the correct prescription order. After checkout, all Rx details were sent back to Shopify and stored per order, giving Shwood a clean workflow inside their admin.
