What We're Looking For

We seek a passionate Test Engineer who is flexible and adaptable to work in a fast-paced, product-focused environment. The right candidate for this position will have profound technical capabilities and will have sound understanding about different functional testing & UI testing tools and processes, along with basic automation knowledge.

You’ll join our product development team where everyone is striving to constantly improve the quality of experience we provide our customers by delivering at our best and being voracious learners.

Responsibilities

  • Test and own the quality of features.

  • Have a solid understanding of the product, its business and technical architecture.

  • Write and execute test cases to find system bugs like UI and usability issues, functionality issues, etc.

  • Conduct exploratory testing.

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, scripts, and tools to improve testing efficiency.

  • Perform thorough manual testing to validate new features, detect edge cases, and ensure a high-quality user experience.

  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand product requirements and create comprehensive test plans.

  • Execute and analyze automated and manual test cases for functional, regression, performance, and API testing.

  • Identify, document, and track bugs, working proactively to ensure resolution.

  • Advocate for quality best practices, ensuring testability and automation are built into the development process.

  • Research and implement new tools and technologies to enhance test coverage and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • At least one year experience in software testing, with a strong focus on both manual and automated testing.

  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including unit, integration, functional, regression, and performance testing.

  • Expertise in exploratory and manual testing, identifying edge cases, usability issues, and regressions.

  • Has a keen eye for designs and UI testing.

  • Great understanding of DOM, Rendering and everything related to the browser since that is the ecosystem your code renders.

  • Have an urge to collaborate and communicate asynchronously.

  • Must be an enthusiast with a go-for-it attitude.

Bonus Points

  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.

  • Solid understanding in SQL.

  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman or similar.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.

  • Familiarity with WCAG and accessibility.

  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6) and security testing concepts.

  • Familiarity with AWS.
