What We're Looking For
We’re seeking a Senior WordPress / CMS Developer responsible for both back-end and front-end development, with exposure in creating WordPress and/or Shopify, themes and plugins. This position requires a combination of programming skills and aesthetics, and the right fit candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and Content Management Systems.

Responsibilities
Ensuring high performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
Designing, develop and implementing new user-facing features and functionalities.
Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture.
Create CMS themes that are SEO-friendly.
Converting comprehensive layouts and wireframes into working HTML pages.
Understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.
Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turn it into a working theme and plugin.
Demonstrate excellent debugging/troubleshooting skills.
Optimize website / application for maximum speed and scalability.
Work collaboratively in a group environment where good communication, judgment, independence, and timeliness are required.
Qualifications
At least 3 years experience in WordPress and/or Shopify Development, with exposure to creating Themes, Plugins, and extending core functionality.
Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, RWD, etc.
Expertise in WordPress multisite architecture.
Experience with WordPress security best practices, as well as familiarity with WordPress code standards and guidelines.
Experience in building user interfaces for websites and web applications.
Strong knowledge of PHP back-end development.
Knowledge of interacting with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
Understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks.
Version control experiences like GIT.
Familiar with package & dependency managers like NPM, Composer, etc.
Bonus Points
Experience in building AMP pages.
Knowledge of HubSpot CMS, Craft CMS, and Drupal.
Experience in building custom Gutenberg block / block pattern development.
Experience with Google Analytics and HubSpot Analytics.
Experience in Headless Architecture.
