You will act as a first line ambassador to potential candidates by assessing and activating talent in the market to deliver quality hires that reflect our communities.

Experience Level: 1+ years

Responsibilities:

  • Attract, source, screen and recruit high-quality candidates against the defined criteria
  • Develop a strong understanding of the organisational culture, hiring strategy and talent profiles to deliver on the hiring needs of the business
  • Conduct in-depth screens and assess potential candidates for level of interest, qualifications and compensation requirements
  • Use innovative sourcing channels to convert hard to find passive talents including social media, diversity resources and networking
  • Drive and manage the candidate experience throughout the selection process to maintain the organisations reputation as “best place to work”
  • Accurately track and report recruitment activity data to support recruitment metrics
  • Develop a broad professional network of top talent and build deep pipelines
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
  • Coordinate campus / off campus recruitment drives

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years recruiting experience; with hands-on experience in the software or technology sector
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment where multiple projects are the norm
  • Proven ability to support / interact and develop strong relationships with hiring managers and senior-level management
  • Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor and in a team environment and communicate effectively across multiple departments and levels
  • Strong presentation skills and outstanding attention to quality of work
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Hands-on with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Docs, Google Sheets

Bonus Points:

  • Masters in Business Administration, with HR as a preferred elective
  • Demonstrated experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Experience using social media tools for sourcing efforts including but not limited to LinkedIn Recruiter
