What We're Looking For

White Rabbit Group is seeking a passionate DevOps Engineer for our growing and evolving team, who will be working closely with the architect, software engineers, QA and the Director of technology to design, build, deploy and manage the environments of our product. You will build and maintain tools that will ensure our application meets the standards while keeping up with fast paced culture with passion to learn and contribute.

Responsibilities

• Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Linux Server Farm.

• Clustering and High availability management along with Virtualisation solutions.

• Perform installation, implementation, customisation, operation, recovery and performance tuning.

• Review Backup and Initiate actions on backup failure against specific documentation.

• Develop automation workflows in CI/CD pipeline adhering to change management process.

• Investigate and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.

• Security and maintenance of the application and technology stack.

• Research & Development for Infra / Support / Software implementation.

• Evaluate and implement emerging DevOps tools and practices.

• Developing Infra as Code to automate cloud deployments.

• Deploy updates and fixes, and provide Level 2 technical support, wherever applicable.

• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.

• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.

Qualifications

• Experience and expertise in AWS.

• Experienced in Cloud architecture and implementation ( Virtualisation, Orchestration, Scalability).

• Hands-on with Bash Scripting and other automation.

• Strong knowledge with Git and GitHub workflows.

• Deep understanding of Docker and orchestration tools.

• Experienced in Apache, Nginx.

• Knowledge in DNS handling.

• Experience in PostgreSQL/MYSQL or similar database.

• Any NoSQL Database experience.

• Experience in setting up and managing monitoring tools.

• Experienced in Firewall and VPN.

• Good knowledge of security trends and best practices.

• Knowledge on IAC.

• Strong understanding of the network layer.

Bonus Points

• Has exposure to Python and back end applications.
