What We're Looking For

This role demands a unique blend of technical acumen, visionary leadership, and strategic decision-making. As a Chief Architect at White Rabbit Group you will be the foremost technical leader and strategist in the Engineering Department, responsible for setting direction and vision across our technical teams. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and collaborate with prospective clients to ensure that our activities are in harmony with our broader business objectives in meeting current and future demands.

Responsibilities

  • Set and lead the technical vision for Engineering, aligning with the business goals.

  • Act as the highest technical authority, providing guidance across projects and teams.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies to ensure innovation and cutting-edge solutions.

  • Inspire and mentor the engineering team, fostering an environment where technical talent can thrive and grow.

  • Cultivate a culture of knowledge sharing and best practices within the team, becoming a key person that all engineers look up to.

  • Provide architectural oversight and technical guidance to ensure projects are completed to high standards, are scalable, and adhere to best practices.

  • Represent technical expertise in sales and client engagements to build confidence and support business development.

  • Champion code quality, best practices, and engineering standards across the teams, ensuring deliverables are of the highest quality.

  • Take ownership of technical partnerships and grow them in tandem with the Business and Engineering team.

Qualifications

  • At least 12+ years of experience, with extensive expertise in architecture across CMS, UI frameworks, Web API, PHP, Dotnet, and Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS).

  • Proven ability to implement high-level architectural decisions that enhance scalability, performance, and reliability.

  • Strong experience in cloud-native architecture, microservices, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.

  • Demonstrated leadership in technical roles, with skills in mentoring and fostering technical excellence.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

  • Experience in client-facing roles, capable of addressing technical challenges confidently.

  • Must be an enthusiast with a go-for-it attitude.

  • Collaborative, proactive, and able to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points

  • Proven experience in building and scaling Engineering Departments and leading end-to-end technical architecture for products and projects.

  • Active contributor to open-source projects, demonstrating a commitment to innovation and the tech community.

  • Hands-on expertise in architecting solutions across multiple cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), with experience in both cloud-native and hybrid environments.

  • Strong background in designing scalable, high-availability systems capable of managing high traffic and large data volumes.

  • Skilled in collaborating with Engineering, Marketing, and Sales teams, effectively bridging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
