Experience Level: 3+ years

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for creating engaging and meaningful interactive experiences across desktop and mobile platforms. Your work involves designing interfaces that solve complex interactions with elegance and simplicity. You're passionate about technology and are skilled in working cross-functionally with technical project managers, developers, and other designers throughout all stages of the product cycle. You enjoy telling compelling stories about users and products to support your work. You think strategically about design; you create solutions that meet the immediate need and establish a solid foundation for future iterations. You are remarkably detail-oriented and deliver excellent work.

Qualifications:

  • You have 3-5 years working as a U/UX designer, user interface designer, or visual designer.

  • Exceptional visual design skills; general understanding of UX principles.

  • You have a passion for design, from high-level concept to pixel-level detail.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (ability to effectively convey an idea).

  • You are self-motivated and able to work independently.

  • You exhibit true empathy for the users you are trying to support in your designs and approach.

  • You have a relentless drive to solve difficult challenges and improve how people interact with technology and with each other.

  • You are passionate about and capable of discovering user/partner/client needs, then translating them into user experience strategies.

  • You have a mastery over standard design and wireframing tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Invision, or other design/prototyping tools.

  • You're passionate about explaining the meaning behind your designs and presenting to internal teams, partners, and clients.

  • You have a relentless drive to make your designs better.

  • You are excited to provide visual QA comments to cross-functional teams to ensure creative quality.

  • You have the ability to quickly iterate designs and switch between different projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • You have a portfolio demonstrating strong visual design skills.

Bonus Points:

  • You have experience with professional services/digital agency business.

  • You have a high-level understanding of technology and terminology we use (e.g. web/mobile app development, UI/UX, QA).
